The "warming" refers to total global heat load (input vs output).
Increased heat load causes more water vapor which dumps more rain and
snow, and often in the wrong places. The warming has also radically
altered wind currents in the Arctic region, causing cold air to plunge
further south than it used to. Mock at your own risk.
