This may help change your mind about small radios. It can be plugged
into external speakers for improved sound.

Something I find confusing - There seems to be the G6 and the G6 Buzz Aldrin
Edition. *Just looking on amazon.com, the G6 without Buzz Aldrin says it
includes longwave 150-500 Khz and SSB. *The $70. Buzz Aldrin does not
say that, only lists BC, SW, FM and aviation, but there is a Buzz Aldrin
with a battery charger that says it does include LW and SSB. *So are there
two different G6 radios, or is the only difference the name on the case?

I'd avoid any audio gear with a word like "buzz" in the name. Also
"rattle" and "squeak".

Buzz Aldrin shot down 2 MIG-15s . So much for rattle and squeak !
