Europe's largest Usenet provider has gone off the net, thanks to efforts
by the MPAA and RIAA. This follows on the heels of large U.S. providers also terminating their Usenet service. Tech Dirt opines that Usenet is gradually being declared illegal by various governments, and that it is only a matter of time until Usenet is shut down. Thanks. There are a dozen newsreaders that can find music and movies automatically; the copyright cops can use these to take down the originating sites; binaries have never been cool to old school usenetters. |

Binaries are fine ... anyone attempting to make the sending/receiving of them are the criminals ... if there is a dispute on the material being copyrighted, legal actions may have to be taken, when they are caught.
