![]() The 2012 CQ World-Wide WPX Contest. SSB is this weekend. Your chance to hear or contact those rarely heard countries. 12 and 15 meters daytime have been best. I contacted Tunisia on 15 meters and South Cook Islands on 12 meters today. Check the DX Summit or DX Cluster for listings of stations on the air. Jim (MI) |

You are correct: No contesting allowed on the WARC bands...but he did NOT say that the 12 meter station was in the contest. No *contest* stations would be on the WARC bands because when you sent your log in the log checkers would bounce it a mile high. To say nothing of the fact that 99.99999999% of the hams know there is no contesting allowed on the WARC bands and would not be trying to run the contest on those bands in the first place. |

E51EWP (Cook Islands) is a DXpedition running through 3/26 and again on from 4/11 - 4/14 using all bands. (Hiding out this weekend in the WARC bands). Jim (MI) |
