EVEN THE MUCH-TOUTED revolution-making social media like Facebook
are, tragically, increasingly censored by “gatekeepers” who want to
stifle the discussion of certain “forbidden” topics. That’s why it’s
important to support multiple platforms for free speech and dissent
— and one of the premier and longstanding forums for free speech is
amateur radio’s Liberty Net, on the air since 1974.

Here are some of the ideas introduced and debated during this week’s
session:

• Are recent calls to “restore tribal lands” to Amerindians just a
sucker play by elitists to balkanize America? It’s interesting to
note, though, that some White American patriots look with favor on
the declaration of independence of the Lakotah people, since they
believe that anything that reduces the power of the regime in
Washington is a good thing — and increases the chances for us to
regain our independence, too. (20 minutes)

• Increasingly, local sheriffs are standing up to the Washington
regime and protecting local citizens — and their constitutional
rights — from federal tyranny. One Liberty Net participant suggests
that these sheriffs deputize several thousand people in every county
to form a strong, almost unchallengeable, pro-freedom force. (41

• The media want us to assume that all the votes and support
abandoned by the Republican shills who have dropped out of the
presidential race are, by some unexplainable magic, automatically
transferred to chief shill Mitt Romney. But the facts are otherwise:
Ron Paul’s support is surging, despite the controlled media

• The money-men behind Mitt Romney are so worried that their
newly-gotten (and, in many cases, ill-gotten) delegates will vote
their consciences and support Ron Paul that they are attempting to
force them to sign contracts binding them to support the
billionaires’ choice. (51 minutes)

• More and more countries are following Russia’s lead and are
refusing to participate in the onerous and unjustified sanctions
against Iran that are being pushed by Israel and the regime in
Washington. To that end, Russia and a consortium of other nations
are developing a new bank wire transfer system to replace the one
controlled by the New York / London / Tel-Aviv axis. (54 minutes)

• In New Mexico, some jurisdictions are shutting off the water and
sewer of persons who allegedly failed to pay traffic tickets issued
by spy camera devices. (1 hour 4 minutes)

• Serious proposals have been introduced into both houses of
Congress — by the indefatigable Pauls, Ron and Rand — to abolish the
TSA, and to investigate and abolish the private Federal Reserve
bank. (1 hour 10 minutes)

• Why are we being pressured — not just by the usual suspects, but
also by large corporations — to celebrate “Cinco de Mayo,” a day on
which the invaders crossing our southern border celebrate “Mexican
pride”? Whites, on the other hand, are taught that to have any pride
in their own heritage is “racist.” (1 hour 17 minutes)

In my honest opinion - they should abolish all nets, make them illegal, and dissolve the practice of reserving a frequency at a certain time for a certain group of people so they can act like idiots.

I do not see any nets / other then the Maritime Mobile net which serves any purpose other then to reserve a place for idiots to talk.
Most if not all of them runs and disconnects their radios at the first sign of weather and most of them could NOT take formal traffic, even if their own life depended on it.

You really want to make a good discussion?

Ask the ARRL to revoke all amateur radio licenses more then 5 years old and require all amateurs to be retested every 10 years.
If you do not pass and if you do not conduct yourself as amateur radio operators should - you don't get a license!

If we could get rid of all the LIDS with the crappy radios and antenna's, that persists on tuning up right on top of someone's QSO or NET or DX...
If we could get rid of the IDIOTS on the 80 and 160 meters who sits there and cusses and acts like idiots.
If we could get rid of the wannabee's on the 2 meters that uses CW terminology instead of plain English, because they want people to think that if they know some Q codes that they are real hams.

Clean up our own door step before we clean up everyone else's.

Then go after all the illegal amplifier operators.

We could purge 250,000 licenses in about 5 years....

I'm sure that there are a bunch of people who has licenses that were not gotten by honest means - that if forced to retake the exam wouldn't - because they can't pass the exam - because they do not understand the questions on the test.

publication outlets in this country,--including the Liberty Net--that no
one, barely even those locally, are talking about the undeclared Martial
Law that's being imposed in Chicago. Nor is there substantive discussion
about the mandatory evacuation of the so-called Red Zone being
facilitated by armed federal troops. There is no discussion of the plans
to close down major thoroughfares into and out of the city, including
Lake Shore drive, and some highway routes. Nor the yet undisclosed
'enhanced security measures' which have been hinted to include full body
scanners, on the commuter trains. Though, just this morning, it's been
revealed that no bags beyond a certain size, which eliminates all work
related briefcases and laptop bags, will be permitted on the trains. No
food, no beverages...no morning coffee, and those danishes prone to
premature detonation, either.

There are also 'papers of transit' required to get into and out of
the so-called Red Zone.

Cars are being towed, TODAY, out of legal parking areas declared
'sensitive' by the Secret Service, which include nearly all the areas of
the Loop, where people work, and live.

Locally, there has been very little open discussion of this. Though
there has been comment on the radio that these exercises are
de-sensitization exercises intended to get the locals used to the idea
of increased use of force, and curtailed liberties, at will, by the city.

I'm surprised, especially, that the Liberty Net has not raised a
clarion call about this.

Really? AFAICT Iran is simply selling oil for rupees, rubles, yuan,
etc, with Russian banks handling most of the transactions (and
taking a commission, naturally). But it's good, either way, to
resist the zionist and warmonger agendas.

Here are some stories that made the local press. Diffuse, often
contradictory, but in conflict with what's been seen on the streets. And
eerily short on details. Local radio released some disturbing memoes
this morning. But widespread coverage is not happening. What's being
published is sparse, heavily downplayed, and without specificity. This
is direct contradiction with personal experiences.

Today cars are already being towed. The tow zone is not clearly
marked, and drivers don't know whether their cars are subject to tow, or
not. City Hall is being evasive.

Yesterday, I saw gates being tested in Park Ridge that will close
major roads into the City. These are recent installs. I've seen two more
sets of these gates at other access points into the city.

I've been personally in the room, last week, when deputies, with
military escorts, informed the manager of a studio where I was recording
that he would be contacted by the Secret Service directly concerning the
possible evacuation, and the full extent of the plan as it pertains to
him. But to be shut down and out of the building by COB Thursday. Need
to know.

Protests have been moved from the NATO summit region, to an area some
miles away, in a residential area, of all places. Permits for protests
are being revoked in record numbers without comment or appeal.

These are the things that aren't being talked about, while the press
essentially fluffs the topic into virtual irrelevance, publicly.

How does something like this happen in the US, without the kind of
outrage that sparked the riots in 1968? I mean...are we THAT ripe for
uncontested martial law?

In my honest opinion - they should abolish all nets, make them illegal,
and dissolve the practice of reserving a frequency at a certain time for
a certain group of people so they can act like idiots.

I do not see any nets / other then the Maritime Mobile net which serves
any purpose other then to reserve a place for idiots to talk.
Most if not all of them runs and disconnects their radios at the first
sign of weather and most of them could NOT take formal traffic, even if
their own life depended on it.

You really want to make a good discussion?

Ask the ARRL to revoke all amateur radio licenses more then 5 years old
and require all amateurs to be retested every 10 years.
If you do not pass and if you do not conduct yourself as amateur radio
operators should - you don't get a license!

If we could get rid of all the LIDS with the crappy radios and
antenna's, that persists on tuning up right on top of someone's QSO or
NET or DX...
If we could get rid of the IDIOTS on the 80 and 160 meters who sits
there and cusses and acts like idiots.
If we could get rid of the wannabee's on the 2 meters that uses CW
terminology instead of plain English, because they want people to think
that if they know some Q codes that they are real hams.

Clean up our own door step before we clean up everyone else's.

Then go after all the illegal amplifier operators.

We could purge 250,000 licenses in about 5 years....

I'm sure that there are a bunch of people who has licenses that were not
gotten by honest means - that if forced to retake the exam wouldn't -
because they can't pass the exam - because they do not understand the
questions on the test.

I say - GOOD BYE AND SO LONG AND GOOD RIDDANCE!

Says WHO that religion and politics are taboo subjects? Really- sez
who? Why NOT discuss these (important) topics? Was this old wives tale
just a ruse to keep intelligent thoughts from being voiced? Suddenly,
amateur radio operators are the enforcers of what constitutes proper
"manners"..
