Geo-magnetic storm dissipates
A strong magnetic storm from a CME impact wiped out E-W communication on 40 meters this morning. I experienced interesting N-S propagagtion though. An amateur operator who is about 50 miles noth of me and typically has a weak skip signal was S9+20dB with flutter and an echo in the signal during the storm peak. Jim (MI) |
