Is anyone aware of weak points in this set? Any preventive medicine to

delay an early death?



As an extra bonus, the seller threw in a Patrolman 9 at no charge. He

had received it in trade for a half empty bottle of Jack Daniels. It

appears Holland MI is just crawling with derelict neighbours.

What condition were the 390A's ?


One was complete and working, the other was complete for parts. I made a
really good receiver out of the 2, then sold them and bought a Drake
R8B. My radio budget is up to about $3,000 now. I have a K3, R75, Drake
SW2, Hallicrafters 3000, Yaesu VRX7, Kenwood TS440SAT, more portables
than I can find. Sell all or part and buy the latest and greatest. I
love this country.
