The total eclipse of the moon has begun here at about 0920.
About half the moon eclipsed at 0950.
About 3/4 eclipsed at 1005.

Akmost totality here at 1022 and the moon is taking on a reddish caste.

A great experience here as during most of these events it's cloudy here on
the lakeshore.

Cool.

Around 10:40 (3:40 AM local, Seattle) the BBC World Service (via local FM)
on "Outside Source" was chirping about how it looked on their video feeds.
So I got up and found that I couldn't see across the street in the fog.

Feh.
