Failing an alliance with Great Britian, the Noble Confederacy decided it's best strategy was to outlast the United States in the war. In retrospect, this isn't much of a strategy. Essentially, the Noble Confederate government was expecting that the people of the Confederacy could withstand more distruction, devastation and death than the United States. Because the plantation owners couldn't live without slavery. We all know how well that worked out. |
