The "phone line antenna" is a good way to see just *how* much unwanted
interference you can pump into a radio before burning something out.

You will only know just how much unwanted noise will be generated until
the first time the phone rings while the radio is connected then it will
be very quiet. No more noise or signal either after that.


Decades ago - when I first started playing with phones - I would not have
known what you're talking about.

Then one day I was working on the phone lines and had hold of the primary two
[red/green] when the phone rang.

Actually, it was I who rang. I almost bit my tongue off.
