Subject: Another Scandal in the White House
Do You Know About the SCANDAL IN THE WHITE HOUSE? Straight Info about the Enron Corp.: 1. Enron's chairman did meet with the president and the vice president in the Oval Office. 2. Enron did give $420,000 to the president's party over three years. 3. Enron donated $100,000 to the president's inauguration festivities. 4. The Enron chairman did stay at the White House 11 times. 5. The Enron Corp. had access to the administration at its highest levels and even enlisted the Commerce and State Departments to grease deals for it. 6. The taxpayer-supported Export-Import Bank subsidized Enron for more than $600 million in just one transaction. SCANDALOUS - Right??? BUT - Guess What? The president under whom all this happened WAS NOT George W. Bush! SURPRISE!!! - It was Bill Clinton! |

Enron has given more than $700,000 to Mr. Bush since 1993; no company has given him more. In addition, Enron's chairman, Kenneth L. Lay, was one of the "pioneers," raising more than $100,000 for Mr. Bush's e-mail campaign, and he and his wife gave a total of $10,000 to Mr. Bush's Florida recount fund. Enron and Mr. Lay also contributed a total of $200,000 to Mr. Bush's inaugural festivities. " www.snopes.com usually has very good documentation about whats true & whats not... http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/outrage/outrage.asp Hunting for Bambi, a Las Vegas-based business, has been conducting "hunts" of naked women for customers armed with paintball guns. Members of Congress receive lavish pensions but are not required to contribute to the Social Security fund. & my favorite.. Hoping to attract the singer's attention, George W. Bush waved at Stevie Wonder. |
