Texe Mars, what a fool. Tonight’s fantasies include the Pope’s opposition
to the Mel Gibson movie "Passion". Never mind that the Vatican has given thumbs up to "Passion". I guess that Texe has never let the facts get in the way. Texe has never met a Catholic that he didn’t hate. Nice Christian. http://www.texemarrs.com/ I think that there are going to be many surprised Christians after their demise. Dr. Artaud http://www.vaticannews.com/ Gibson's film 'wins Vatican approval'... http://c.moreover.com/click/here.pl?j89534353 "Vatican official praises clips from Mel Gibson movie that critics fear will spur anti-Semitism By TOM RACHMAN The Associated Press 9/13/03 2:33 PM VATICAN CITY (AP) -- A senior Vatican official who watched clips from Mel Gibson's controversial film "The Passion" offered enthusiastic praise Saturday for what he saw, despite concerns from Jewish groups that the movie will promote anti-Semitism. Many conservative Christians say the unreleased film powerfully depicts the last 12 hours of Jesus' life. But Jewish leaders say the work suggests Jews were responsible for the death of Christ, and could trigger anti-Semitic attacks. U.S. Archbishop John P. Foley of the church's social-communications office said he hoped to show the film in the Vatican and said he doubted whether criticisms of the film were valid. "From what I could see of the trailers, it seemed to be an excellent film," Foley said. "I don't think they would be well-founded criticisms because all the material in the film comes directly from the Gospel accounts. There's nothing in the film that doesn't come from the Gospel accounts. "So, if they're critical of the film, they would be critical of the Gospel." Gibson, an Academy Award-winning director, spent nearly $30 million to produce the movie, which is expected to be released in the spring. Gibson has defended his work as faithful to the Gospels and said it is intended "to inspire, not offend." The Roman Catholic Church formally rejected Jewish culpability in Christ's death nearly 40 years ago. Gibson is a member of an ultraconservative Catholic movement that rejects the Vatican's authority over the church. The Simon Wiesenthal Center is one of several Jewish groups and leaders to speak out against "The Passion." Last month, the organization, which works to bring Nazis to justice, urged Gibson to make changes to his film. Rabbi Marvin Hier of the Wiesenthal Center's office in Los Angeles said in an August statement that the center had received hate mail accusing it "of being Christ killers" after the group publicly expressed reservations about the film. "For 20 centuries, the false charges ... have been the core reasons for anti-Semitism, causing the death and persecution of millions of Jews," Hier said at the time. Foley acknowledged that he had not seen the entire film, but said "in what I saw there was nothing objectionable. It was very faithful to the Gospel." ...more |

You should hear Texe Marrs get wound up on the King James Only Bible
issue. Of course, that could be, partly, because he was getting a commission on all of Gayle (? Gail) (G.A.) Riplinger's books that he sold. :-) Pastor Peter J. Peters has some very interesting clips from Texe in his "King James Only DECEPTION" series. I think there are twelve tapes in that series. You can go to http://www.scripturesforamerica.org/ and click on "Tape Catalog" or go to http://www.listenz.net/sfa/ and type "deception" [without the quotes] into the search box. Texe should be mainly in part 5 - "The Pawn and the Knights" subheading, though he could be referenced earlier or later also. Al ================== Dr. Artaud wrote: Texe Mars, what a fool. Texe has never met a Catholic that he didn't hate. Nice Christian. ======== Marrs also has Jews on the Brain. This has become increasingly obvious with each issue of his newsletter. Marrs will pick up any anti-Israel or anti-Jewish rumor, even from an Arabic source, and run it as a proven fact without making the slightest effort to research it. Unlike some other shortwave broadcasters, Marrs very pointedly doesn't provide a free internet replay option nor a free printed transcript on his website. Marrs doesn't give anything for free (if you don't buy stuff from him, he even drops you from his newsletter mailings). |

Pretty lame Frank. I'm sure that there are others on this group that would be
as interested as I am in seeing the news and commentary sources that you believe are credible. Levity aside, exactly what and who do you find credible, or are you more interested in concealing the depth of your liberalness. For your edification, I listen to and/or read the following. Alex Jones Michael Trudeau John Stadtmiller Joyce Riley von Kleist & Dave von Kleist Jeremy Floyd EWTN Hal Turner Rabbi Spivak Tom Valentine Michael Trudeau The LIBERTY NET! World Net Daily News Max World News Net (check out the url http://www.universalradio.com/ ) The Heritage Foundation The National Review online The Federal Observer The Sierra Times Jewish World Review Israel National News (Arutz Sheva) Jerusalem Post Online Haaretz Online Human Events Online Middle East Media Research Institute MEMRI Islam Online Ann Coulter Mona Charen Walter Williams Patrick Buchanan William Buckley And more…… See Frank, good or bad, at least I can define who and what I read or listen to. Not PBS stuff for sure, neither is it BBC, but why limit oneself to such a controlled media. For anyone that thinks otherwise, the liberal media is highly controlled, both in content and verbiage. Pursuant to verbiage, the following: In the Pittsburgh area recently, there has been an unfortunate murder (one of many anymore), described by the 2 papers available here thus. Woman and two fetuses murdered. Pregnant woman murdered. Which of the above article headlines do you believe represents the "liberal newspaper"? Rather tragically the "woman and two fetuses murdered" represents the liberal rag. No surprise there though, since the liberal sacrament is abortion, and the host the aborted fetuses. The newspaper is unable to acknowledge that the murder of the woman represents the loss of three lives. Oh sure, they acknowledge that the law will regard this crime as a triple murder, but in spirit they don't acknowledge the true loss of the babies, the human babies, the same life forms that have been destroyed by the tens of millions by "so called" doctors. But how could they? We have been inculcated on the topic of choice, the euphemistic term for a procedure that, when applied to late term babies, is nothing more than society sanctioned murder. Crush the head, remove the brains by suction, hey, it's nothing more than a medical procedure, like removing an unwanted mole or wart. This is why I read Jewish and Arab publications, because I don't believe either side, they both lie when the opportunity suits them, as does the U.S. and Conservatives, and liberals. The truth cannot be divined via a limited exposure to people of the same ilk, they have the same biases. Despite my wealth of so called "rightwing extremist" sources, I am also inundated by the pabulum disseminated by the mainstream media everyday, I did not list those as sources. So Frank, in a rare moment of seriousness, especially regarding news and information sources, if not for the group, how about letting me know your bias? I have shown you mine. Regards.
