I enjoyed listening to them. Fifteen years ago, they were one of my fave SW stations. WRNO had a big transmitter fire in the late 90s, the owner, Joe Costello, died and, last I heard, the license was sold to another religious broadcaster. I heard reports that they were down to using modified ham transmitters under 1kW just to keep the frequency. I don't think I ever heard the low power transmissions. Frank Dresser |
