Pete,
Its not me, but here are all three . . . DRAKE SPR-4 RECEIVER + MS-4 SPEAKER & AL-4 LOOP ANTENNA Look-Up: ebay Auction Item # 3057414750 tbogb ~ RHF .. .. = = = "Pete KE9OA" = = = wrote in message ... It's nice of you to let folks know, but that antenna was never anything to write home about. The only reason that it worked halfway decent on the SPR-4 receiver was because of the bipolar transistor loop amplifier. It might have some collector value, but probably only for a person that has that specific receiver. I took one of them apart several years ago, and it was nothing but a loop that was constructed of something similar to RG-174 coax cable, with a break in the shield at the top. Pete Rob Mills wrote in message news:n6Pqb.8657$iE.2702@okepread01... If any of you loop nuts are interested, there is a Drake AL-4 loop advertised (ebay) in the Boat anchor group. RM~ |
