OK... Art Bell played a recording of a pulse type noise (buzz) bursts that he said is bothering folks on the west coast; thousands of square miles in extent... I heard him say the noise peaks on 7290 kHz and is a source of irritation to coms on the 40 meter Ham band. Anybody got the straight dope on this that they could pass along. RG This has been heard by several members of the European Number Stations group (Enigma 2000) It has occured on other frequencies besides 40 meters as well.
