Kewl! What's out there to be heard, all you non-Chicagoans? Not only on
720, but 710 and 730 as well; I can't afford a front-end good enough to
get close to WGN on an ordinary night. Hell, they can put 5 volts across
a staple at 100 miles.

710 will be a Cuban Miami station, or WOR NYC, judging from Central Ohio.

(Not worded goofy at all, it's from the WGN site as an announcement of what's
happening on November 29.)

This was written more than 10 days ahead of the event and states " this
saturday", not " on this saturday". That's not goofy ?? Musta been an intern
writing it.

I taped them overnight, but either this didn't happen or it was very short and
I missed it. I did notice 'carrier only' for 10-15 secs a few times.

Please re-read the post! And pay very careful attention to the date!

Should we assume Central or Eastern time?

Regards,

Grumpus

Since the notice was released by WGN itself, I'm sure that it's safe to assume that the times
given are Central Time.

But, if you need clarification, why not email WGN and find out. There is still time.
