My present mast is a 36-foot heavy duty telescoping one (15-5067) I got from
Radio Shack about ten years ago. It's only support above ground are two clamps
along the middle and top of the side of my house. I use the roof base (15-5068)
at the bottom to dig into the soil, to stabilize and ground it.

The mast (and my station) is also grounded to an 8-foot rod next to it.
