Mike,

Makes One Wonder . . .

What the BBC would be saying today about Hitler? and Stalin?

Hmmm.... i'm sure they'd still hang hitler out to dry in thier
publications but i'm sure "komrad" stalin would be quite beloved,
protected, apologized for and covered with complimentary
adjectives before and after each and every incident of his name
in thier reports.

".... the beloved leader of the adoring russian people, Mr. Stalin,
today cried deep tears and had to look deep into his heart for
understanding as circumstances beyond his control forced him,
AGAINST his will, to put another million or so of his fellow
contryment to death.... blah blah blah blah"

It's as if the diplomatic train has left the station and
clueless critics of this country are only now beginning
to realize, "Hey, that's my train!"

are now suddenly congradulating us and expressing
"delight" at the capture of saddam, finally proving
we're doing the right thing and that we're succeeding...
