Hello all, I am interested in purchasing my first shortwave radio and wanted to ask you all what brand and model you thought was best. I am looking to spend around $100 (US). I have looked at the Grundig S350 and it falls into my price range, but I'm not sure if there are better radios out there or not. That's kinda two questions. Yes, there are better radios out there and yes there are better portable radios out there. Whether you can do better for $100 new is a different question and problematical. If possible, I'd recommend trying to find a used Sony 7600G/GS, which shouldn't set you back any more than that and may be a bit less. |
