I am impressed this morning, WSM .650 khz Nashville Tennesse is coming in
really good this morning. I'm in New England (Maine) and it's the first time
I've heard this station so late after sunrise here. Band conditions must be
excellent on MW.

I've got a Crosley VI, a ca. 1924 two-tube regen. receiver with book
condensers. After finally getting a power supply, I hooked up the
long wire antenna and -boom--I received two local stations and WSM!
That was last winter. I'm in northern lower Michigan (Traverse City).
It was at night. Not bad for a very rudimentary radio.
