I'm up north in Ridgecrest and it did get very cold last night, it's
33f outside right now. The sun is coming up and I can feel it on my back through the window. We normally have a 40 degree spread in temperatures so it will be around 60 something today, I may head south later today to get out of this cold. I had a "Rolling Blackout" last night, I turned off the lights and rolled up in the electric blanket. Welcome to The "Poor *******s" club! ;-) Might invest in a sleeping bag just in case.. Our Bedroom gets down to the 50's ; Electric blankets are one of mans greater inventions.. Had our black out last summer; Used to have Rolling Blackouts when I attended College in Mexico City. Let there be Windmill generators ! The hummingbirds are feeding at all three feeders, the big birds are feeding in the yard on the seed I put out last night. We have Sea Gulls Here. They Eat .. all sorts of stuff.. Aren't you a little late putting antifreeze in your car?? Windsheld Washer fluid. Got some goes down to 25 below.. Too windy to put it in; Not driving anywhere anyway. Thank god for the " A" Train! Yes, if I take the Porsche with the top down I have to put on lots of "PF22" Sun block and hope the wind doesn't dry my skin out to much. _ went out on an interview yesterday & the glare was so intense I got a bit of Sunburn. You get that outside round here in this weather I have some Miles Davis and Lional Hampton as will as lots of other jazz. got 3 Bill Evans CD's as well as " Kind Of Blue" Stay Warm. Will do, enjoy the drive in your Porsche Dan |
