Not at all !
You can take a hypotheses, then run right out and find evidence to prove your
beilefe;
- Look at the " OJ Jury "
- Didn't want to believe he was guilty, so they found the evidence that
went along with their belief.
& then called everyone else " Prejudiced ".

Nobel winning scientists are repeatedly bamboozled by Hucksters,
Frauds, sleight of hand artists;
Happens all de time !

Variations occur naturally over time; that has never been in
dispute. However, the physical properties of CO2 are very well known,
and we're adding a lot to the atmosphere every year.

An interesting Idea:
- Ocean's general warming trend is killing off Coral, which usually absorbs
& Builds calcium Carbonate exoskeletons;
- But with the corals dying out, from their environment warming slightly,
the C02 the coral would have absorbed is still
in solution in ocean water, absorbing heat from the sun ( etc)
slightly expanding the volume of the Ocean, hence Slightly raising sea levels..
( ! ! ! )

It would be nice if some natural process is cancelling out the
effects of all that extra CO2. I hope it is, for our sake, but having
a closed mind to the issue isn't going to make it go away.

Anyway, does anyone know if higher average temperatures will have
any effect on shortwave propagation? Or other frequencies, like
Sporadic 'E' in the summer?

Now; if the overall atmosphere Does warm by a slight amount,
it will expand in volume ( right ?? )

- So we might surmise that the upper parts of the atmosphere would be displaced
Upwards..
accelerating the decay of low earth orbit satellites;
and possibly raising the absolute elevation of the Ionospheres reflective
layers..
not a " 1 + 1+1 = 3 "
or Correlation = Causality
but
- an interesting Idea...

Hmmm....
- Ever take a glass of cold water 7 let it sit fer a while?
ever see Bubbles form on the side of the glass?
Where de bubbles come from???
- Tooth Fairy?
Nope!
its de dissolved gas in the cold water
becoming undissolved
& going back into its gaseous form.
-SO ??
IF SEA Water
warms slightly
Some of the dissolved gases in it
will be released into the atmosphere
causing an increase in absolute volume of Air on the planet..
Including C02;
-which absorbs heat,
expanding our atmosphere
a little bit more..

- Don't see that Co2 Absorbing process here...

IS,

It is my understanding that by the year 2020 the actual majority
of the so called Global Warming "Green House Gases" will be
generated by three countries: China, India and Indonesia.

NOT from the Automobiles or Power Plants in the USofA but simply
from the common people of those countries burning carbon fuels
to heat their homes and cook their food.

People Gota Live...
Or would you suggest that we start with THOSE PEOPLE !
* Shall They Freeze ?
* Shall They Starve ?
* Shall They Simply Be Eliminated ?
All in the 'name' of "Protecting the Planet" from People !

In fact, scientific knowledge forms the basis of our modern
civilisation. All that technology we conveniently use in our everyday
lives (including your shortwave radio gear) is the result of
scientific research.
You can't dismiss one complete branch of science without
dismissing it all (and going to live in a cave), because that would
make you a hypocrite.
Strange questions about tin-foil hats are unacceptable as a means
of persuading other people to change their minds about the causes of
global warming. This does your case no good at all. I would have
thought that to be self-evident.
Good DX my friend.

Ian, Renfrew, Scotland.

Tin-foil hats or not, what you fail to see is that my case is sound,
while yours is flawed... get over it. :-)

- Let them all eat Frozen Food ??

Yeah, we can build Huge Nuclear Powered Frozen food factories
Taking care of Unemployment AND global Warming.. !

- But If there is no such thing as Global Warming then we don't have anything
to worry about !

Hmm...
Well I've seen on TV woods catch fire & burn down
& this process generates lots of heat.
:
So maybe we should take a tip from our forward thinking freinds
in Brazil, Indonesia and Africa
And just burn down
all the forests.
!
We could then Put in tract housing,
with beautiful Blue Swimming pools
Swimming Pools don't burn.
:
- So that would take care of the problem
of the woods burning down
& generating heat !
:
This being true,
Cities generate less heat
than the woods
:
There would be more cities
than woods
So the earth would cool down
Go into an Ice age
& freezing all the Swimming Pools...

Which wouldn't matter a whit, since we would have long since run out of
oxygen to breath, and would be dead.. leaving only the cockroaches left to
enjoy the swimming pools anyway.. :)

- But Brenda,
If you Heat all the swimming pools,
then they would release the gases
trapped in solution !
part of these gases is Oxygen,
- so
By heating the swimming Pools
We'd all have air to breath!

( & THEN we could go after the cockeroaches ! ! ! )

Denying the well-known physical properties of CO2 as a greenhouse
gas hardly soundifies your case. But I see no reason to hold any
grudges, and will continue to read your other posts with interest.
