I'm surprised more haven't shown up on eBay, although a couple have. This guy: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...205163&categor y=15051 actually bought a couple from someone else for about $290 and is now trying to resell at least For others who bought them, what's your impression? While I love what they did in terms of miniaturization, I have to say I'm not knocked out by the performance. It's decent, but I don't think it's two bills (retail) better than a 7600GR. Why would someone buy a SW07 on EBAY for 290 and then start a new auction with a base price of 270? Seems a little risky to me just to make what could only be a few dollars for a lot of trouble. Any ideas? IMO, that just eBay. The person does sell quite a few radios, and my guess is he expects to turn this one over for at least some profit. If you read his blurb (the one that says there are 3,000 memories!), he seems to be implying that there's some value added in him having "checked out" the unit.(?) We'll see if he misjudged the demand, but he can always sit on it for a better time I suppose. |
