Thank You Massachusetts!
At long last our national nightmare is over. I'd like to publicly
thank the Mass. Supreme Court for declaring Wednesday that gays are entitled to nothing less than marriage and that Vermont-style civil unions will not suffice. This sets the stage for the nation's first legally sanctioned same-sex weddings by the spring. "The dissimilitude between the terms `civil marriage' and `civil union' is not innocuous; it is a considered choice of language that reflects a demonstrable assigning of same-sex, largely homosexual, couples to second-class status," the justices wrote. On behalf of the shortwave listening family I salute this very brave and historic decision. Judge Solomom himself could not have adjudicated this matter more wisely! Sons of Massachusetts stand proudly and take a bow - a resounding THANK YOU echoes throughout our land! Melvin |

Banned From The Planet ??
I recall a Person of German Descent who tried the same thing in the 30's & 40's ... Luckily he did not succeed. You can always move to Pakistan, & set up shop in Islamabad; I've heard the Islamic Fundamentalists are Completely in Sync with your views.. I hope you're right, but who were those that were dancing and celebrating after 9/11? There are those that ask why the vast majority of Islamic people don't do more to stop the rise of terrorists from their midst... I submit that barring vigilantism, there is little that the public at large can do about criminal activity. If there were, then there would be no criminal activity (or considerably less). I must admit that I am at a complete loss as to how to go about purging the likes of Osama bin Laden from society. I don't think that violence or war is a solution. This has been demonstrated in Great Britain by the fact that War nearly always kills mostly the innocent. DeWayne |

"Yeah, to do anything like "banning" someone they'd have to be a devout Muslim, right ?" A 'truly' "Devout" Muslim may NOT in-fact 'ban' anyone: - They may 'choose to act' by simply Praying for the Offender, Themselves, and their Community. - They may also, 'choose to act' in many other non-hostile and non-violent ways to seek Redress and/or Justice. However, a Fundamentalist Extremist Islam-O-Nazis would do the 'right thing' and either take "The Offender of the Will of Allah" to a public square or just outside the town or village and Publicly Stone Them to Death.
