Show us the *evidence* that he called every newspaper 'in a state'.

There are only two major newspapers in Utah - the Deseret News (owned
by the LDS Church) and the Salt Lake Tribune. Both are located 200
miles away from Cedar City. Those two and the WSU Signpost (even
further north) all ran pieces citing contact from Burns.

I believe all three have internet searchable archives. Their stories
were essentially word-for-word the same.

You are saying you were not arrested? How could you be cited for
possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and
interfering with an arrest then?

Semantics on your part perhaps?

Nope, three charges by citation. No arrest.

Note that the word arrest was used in all articles.

Mike made the top ten.

I've never seen the inside of any jail. They weren't interested in
spending any money to secure me, just in getting their hands on fine
revenue.

No semantics. I was going to fight the charges in court, but the
judge (against Burns suggestions) kept the fines low enough where it
made more sense to pay them. No parole or probation. And no charges
being filed against my debaters.

So, try to get over it, Steve. The whole thing had nothing to do with
why you got so ballistic in the first place. And I'vewon more in
bets predicting your actions in the past few days than I had to pay
in fines! ;-)

Please feel free to prove where I'm lying about anything.

Whydon't we give the newsgroup a break, Centurion?

Big freakin' deal. So he smokes dope. Y'all like your shots of rye? whiskey?
or is it beer? Maybe you don't commit any of those 'sins' but heaven forbid!
They forgot to relegalize marijuana when they ended prohibition.

There are much bigger problems in the world.

By the way, I work for a large multinational company and make good money.
And yes, I smoke canabis socially. Big freakin' deal.

The 'deal' is that Bryant continues to lie about it. That's the crux of the
'deal'.

When you've been around here for a while you'll come to understand this

Maybe that's what it is Diver. Maybe I need a road trip out to see Cousin Burr,
if he'll have me perhaps I'll go.

The '77 Buick needs a road trip, and I need some West Coast DX'ing.

Thinking about relocating to a warmer climate anyway.

Either that or get myself a double sleeper and hit the road.

I got options, might as well take advantage of em, the years pass so quickly.

I could care less that he smokes dope.

Frankly, hearing of it tends to explain parts of his tilted world-view.

However, what I do think is a huge breach of trust (and duty), is that it
appears that he did so with students in his charge.

Perhaps you Canucks might want him for one of your minor community colleges!
Cheap!
