Oh bull****. Your son didn't suspect that. Look at this a guy who claims his son can tell the symptoms of bent pins without opening the case. No problem, Dell shipped another new unit (but you'd think they'd check these things before they leave the factory, wouldn't you?). Why didn't your wiz of a son just straighten the pins? Sounds to me like he bent them while taking the CPU out of the socket. |
