I've listened to Havana's "news" a few times, and they seem to be more
60s type "New Left" than Pyongyang, which is more old line Stalinist. Two completely different branches of Communism. I have a contact I met thru Radio Netherlands in Cuba...He ask for simple items like Celine Dion CD, old magazines, etc He always sends me postcards or some other junk that has no value. I attribute this to his socio-economic status. Imagine if I had a pen-pal in North Korea~what would that be like ? spd |
