Maximus,

They do not allow VISIBLE antennas. Search the net for stealth antennas.

Some people run them in the attic, inside the gutter at the eaves of the
house, especially if plastic gutters. Also, you may be able to run a
wire UNDER the eaves or up the gable end. If you put the antenna so
they cannot see it, and thus other tenants can't see it, you'll probably
be all right.

Their point is that if YOU are allowed to run a very small wire over to
the nearest tree SOMEONE ELSE will want to run the antenna of their
choice and pretty soon the entire place is cluttered with satellite
dishes, CB antennas, TV antennas, etc. After a bad wind storm or two
some of them have radials broken or dangling and pretty soon the whole
place really looks a mess.

Be VERY discrete and don't make it look like an antenna. Some hams have
donated flag poles to their housing developments -- with an antenna
hidden INSIDE the flag pole!. Instead of gripping about your "antenna"
they could be praising you for being so patriotic and/or neighborly and
furnishing the flag pole -- free of charge. How nice of you! :-)
