One thing that maybe the trouble is the battery for the memory could be
gone. Just replace the battery and try resetting the memory. It should only cost you about $10.00 for the battery or less and some elbow grease. You can get the manuals at http://www.mods.dk/view.php?ListManuals=kenwood . I do know other people who have had the radio and in working order it is a damn good radio. New it sold for between $500.00 and $1000.00 depending on country. Find a local Ham and see if they want to try to get it working for the price of parts. "fartin freddy" wrote in message ... Bought one at a junk store for $10 but all that's on the screen is 0000.000.00 's and it hums a bit. Worth fixin'? My TV guy said he couldn't fix it, but I should send it to it's maker. |
