Actually, there is nothing to think about here at all. Anyone but an
idiot could see that for all or this century, and especially for the
last 20 years, big business has only consulted what good for IT, not
what's good for the country.

Try not to be too ignorant.

You seem to be assuming the two alternatives you pose are mutually
inconsistent--not a particularly nuanced position for someone so
concerned with ignorance.
