I'd love to see the "shock troops" from Berkely. I'm sure a
batallion of "earth muffins" would prompt an instant
surrender from any foe.

Dude, you just don't know. I was teaching a summer session at UC-Berkeley
(learn to spell) in 1991 when four days of riots between the police and the
homeless broke out. If you have images of Berkeley being a battalion of "earth
muffins" you've created your own reality. Several deaths, dozens of police
officers beaten senseless and thousands of police called in from all over
California.

I'd take what I saw as a marauding attack force, anyday.
