A lot of people consider the Renaissance to be the end of the dark ages.
That was around the time Columbus set sail. The time between the collapse of the Roman Empire (400 AD roughly?) to 1500 is the likely range for the 'dark ages' Nobody, except you, considers the Renaissance to be the end of the dark ages. Please stop cross-posting this inane (and inaccurate) crap to neworleans.general. Nobody here cares. Looks like I shoved the middle ages into the catagory. A reference I looked at said the dark ages were roughly from 400 to 800 AD. The brain is rotting. The MIDDLE ages ended around 1500. mike |
