It's obvious you haven't been around very long. Air America is the past.
History repeating itself.

I have listened for a couple of weeks now, and
I'm bored out of my mind. Honestly, I gave it a
chance, but No-Doz should not be a prerequisite
for listening. I wanted Air America to be something,
but it's just too boring to believe.

I will certainly listen in a month or so - if they're
still around.

I'm sure that Rush and Hannity were no more entertaining when they started
out..

First broadcast, March 31 -- last Wednesday.

Maybe it just seems like weeks...

I'm not sure that Hannity qualifies as entertaining even now, but how
can you be sure what they were when they started out if you weren't
tuned in (assuming that's the case)? BTW, I could be wrong, but I
don't think the Air America hosts are exactly starting out, either.
The fact that the network is new doesn't necessarily qualify the hosts
as rookies. Franken, for one, has been honing his skills as a world
class windbag on a level with the most gaseous conservative
broadcasters for some time now.

ROTFLMAO!!!! Good one.. touche' But to answer your question, almost
nobody (irregardless of whether they have talent on loan from God) is very
good when they start out.. I'm sure that even those famous debaters Mrs.
Lincoln and Douglas started out as something less than stellar.. we all
learn as we go.. (hard to learn any other way).

hehe, like they will get better at inventing stuff to talk about as time
goes on. Yep, I agree with that.

I think a "UFO" format might be a better prospect financially just in
case they win in November. Otherwise they are finished and it will
become obvious to even the blind what their existence is/was all about.

Rush Limbaugh will trash anybody who is the 'current' administration,
whoever it may be...thats the difference I don't think these newbies
have in mind in being the 'other' side.

I'm glad its a free country and they aren't piping this **** into my
home without an 'off' knob.

WLS picked up Rush early in Rush's syndication, and Rush was very good. I
don't know how Rush was in Sacremento, or how good he was as a DJ.

Hannity has a far more limited range than Limbaugh and fewer tricks. I
think most of the Air America hosts have similiar limitations.

Hannity hasn't gotten any better in the year+ he's been on the air.
