LENNY,
When interviewed today, Prince Bandar said that this was NOT a 'promise', but a general "Pledge" that the Saudi Arabian Government (Royal Family) has made to each US President since Jimmy Carter. That the 'price' of Oil and therefore the "Price" of Gasoline would not be a factor during the US Presidential Election period. Just the Facts ~ RHF .. .. = = = "Lenny" wrote in message = = = ... "Soames123" wrote in message ... Prince Bandar Assists Bush in re election bid Last night on CBS's 60 Minutes, Bob Woodward, senior editor at the Washington Post, said Saudi Arabian Prince Bandar pledged to increase Saudi oil production and thereby lower gas prices just before the 2004 election. Is this payback for the Bush " Hands Off The Saudis" approach to terrorists?? Is that as opposed to the eight-year Clinton " Hands Off The Saudis" approach to terrorists? Or shouldn't I expect you to bring that up? This pledge has cost U.S. consumers literally billions of dollars in higher gas prices. And exactly how has that happened? |
