This limits residency rights in France for the inhabitants. These are hot and humid countries. The coast is very low and the Dutch build sea walls and pumped the water out along the coast, so that it is dirty ocean (rivers dumping silt) on one side and swamp on the other, narrow strip of dry land at sea level in the middle. -- -UA |
