Thanks Steve. But I thought their evening broadcasts were to the Americas.
I don't see an English schedule for broadcasts to the Americas. Did that go
away?

What does the schedule say...?

The schedule is the schedule, how many times must we go down this road?

Anyone know what happened to VOA? I used to hear them each night on

5995
and 7130. Now they're silent. I know they've cut back, and I've seen

the
full frequency list, but I'm wondering if others have heard them on

specific
frequencies that are better for reception in the evenings on the east

coast
of NA.

Thanks.

Here is the sked:

Because sometimes people want to know "WHY?".

Or just gossip about it.

Or in this case, find out what's happening to our taxpayer dollars.

Because the VOA felt like it?

The original poster questioned whether the English broadcasts to the Americas went
away.

Looking at the schedule shows that indeed they did go away. The original poster did
not ask 'why' they went away, just as to whether they had gone or not.

Pretty simple.
