One more post on this thread tonight. ON the back of the radio it has like a
built into label that says what is on what. This 'might' be interesting, I know I found it pretty historical accurately. VHF2(Public Service)-Police,Fire,Civil Defense,U.S. WB(Weather Band)-Weather Dept.,Railroads,Taxis,Highway Trucks,Private Mobile Telephone **NO WHERE anywhere on this radio does it say 'where' it's made.
