Haven't received sold out letter yet.

So.... did anyone in the group NOT get the sold out letter?

I put my Grudig 650 for sale on eBay after buying this one. Sigh.

So Mitchell,, if these 800s are in fact delivered to us, in a couple

of
days we will indebted to you for quickly posting their availaility in

the
group. Thanks!

From what I've read here the it was never available at that price from

the
Discovery 800 number.

Guess you guys grabbed 'em all -- the site says "Sorry no longer
available" for that item. It lets me put it in the cart,

though....

See the message I received (I posted it on this thread). I am asking them
if this is a raincheck or an outright cancellation. Will see.

I did not get an Email saying the order was cancelled. It just said
cancelled when I checked it on the site.

bucks.

Perhaps we should consider that sometime - a group buy of, say, ICOM

R75s,
or Sat 800s. It takes nerves of steel and trust, because we have to

pool
the money together under one person. These days an escrow service could
address that. Not what size batch we would need to buy to equal the
discount the big guys get.

You lucky man.

Hate to make you jealous, but mine says "Ready to Ship" (of course it
might also be cancelled in an hour). Maybe so many people ordered that
their online stock system couldn't keep up.

Mine was canceled too. :-(

Any emails from Discovery.com explaining why? I reveid none.

I just checked my order from yesterday on line and it has been marked
by Discovery.com as cancelled.

Got my cancellation Email. Said that I cancelled it or zero stock.
When I ordered it it was in stock. I wrote them an Email. We'll see
but I think no chance.

Want to sell at a profit? I'll give you $205.00 for it.

Me, the original poster. My order on the Discovery Channel site says
"Ready to Ship." Believe me, I posted here a MOMENT after I placed my
order. I was not going to post it before I tried placing an order
myself. Sorry. I'll post any changes to my order status here.
