Proposal has police cars with wireless "zappers" to overload vehicle computers
in pursued cars and force them to a halt. Of course there are questions: would police car stop too? Or how about nearby innocent vehicles, or DXers a mile away but with a big antenna--it would pickup a big EMP pulse and destroy the radios, no? Could your microwave fry? Your Direct TV? Or cable-TV amplifiers mounted on roadside poles? Think pacemakers. Think your precious PC or Apple. The I-Pod?
