The Ft. Lauderdale Sun Sentinel reports that the Florida Association of
Broadcasters hosted a meeting in Hollywood to review a law (which took effect July 1) that makes running a pirate station a third degree felony. Pirate stations have been an ongoing problem for AM and FM stations across South Florida, interfering with and blocking out legitimate stations. |
