Default Problem with Sagean 909

"desiglass" wrote in message . ..
Last night the left channel went dead when listening with ear phones.
Leading up to this the left channel would go slowly dead but would come back
(briefly) after I would power off then back on. Now the left channel is
dead completely. Does anyone have an idea what could cause this? I love
this radio; it has been my companion on many sleepless nights. I need to use
the ear buds so as not to disturb my wife.

I also have an ATS-909 and it probably is the earphone jack that needs
replacement if possublt one of the wires to rgge jack vroke. It is a
farly common problem with the external antenna jack loosening so the
earphone jack is oeobably the same.

Regards

Chaz
