Has anyone found a way to pull a ground-rod out of clay in order to re-locate it? I guess I could just pound it in until it's well below surface and get some new ones, but it seems a waste... One of these fancy car jacks may work well. It has a pretty good working range. A guy (or girl) could hose clamp a loop around the rod and start lifting. These are called JackAlls hereabouts. http://www.maasdamoffroad.com/tigerjack.htm I'd probably put the base of the thing on top of the ground rod then wonder why it isn't working... mike -- __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ / /\ / /\ / /\ / /\ / /\ / /\ / /\ / / / /\ \/ /\ \/ /\ \/ / /_/ \/_/ \/_/ \/_/ \/_/ \/_/ \/_/ \/_/ ..let the cat out to reply.. ©Densa International 'Think tanks cleaned cheap' |
