Indirectly, yes. If they make arrangements for a non Jew to work the
equipment, then it's ok to listen, however. If this were carried to the
extreme, then the same religious laws would apply to the using of light
switches, toilet levers and anything else that may be considered 'work'.

You are going to lose this argument big time. Ask yourself the
conditions the protesters were placed in at the Democratic convention
the other week in contrast to the protest marches that have already
occurred in New York.

The protesters are going to have it much better in New York as long as
it stays peaceful. If they get violent or look like they are going to
disrupt the daily lives of the people that live and work in that city
then they will get what they deserve.
