I *believe* ham radio traffic is exempt from the rules about disclosing
what you hear; I'm *sure* anything intended for broadcast is exempt.

You get into a gray area when a ham runs a phone patch for someone. That
might be under the ham rules, and might be considered private because of
the telephone-network portion of the total communication loop. I take
the coward's way out WRT that and don't disclose any phone patch traffic
I hear. Too bad, because one I did myself many years ago had some really
heart-rending content.
