I been reading reviews on both the Degen 1102 and 1103 SW radios. Both get
good reviews. Which is the best performer? Only difference I see from reading is the 1103 uses a needle dial combined with the digital readout. It appears both are very sensitive to signals. I once owned a Grundig YB 305 portable that had sensational reception on AM and SW with the whip. It sounds like the Degen 1102 and 1103 are similiar. On Ebay there are some fluctuations in price for the Degen 1102 and 1103...but looks like either can be bought for about $60 including shippping with some exploring on Ebay. |
