UA,

Stop spreading this lie about DPR of Korea sending 'prisoners'
to help other governments that are friendly to the peoples
democratic republic and its people.. These are "Peoples
Volunteers" and their families are rewarded with an extra
ration of food and water for their patriotic service.

tic ~ RHF

Deeply sorry if this offends all the comrades of the Great Leader. LOL. Of
course they are volunteers!

I think we should all start calling liberals "old-fart-liberals."

Any old-fart-liberal should know better than to call all Russians
communists.

Perhaps we could revert completely to more historical names like Radical and
Reactionary, or Spiders and Bees. (If you know the classic literary
reference for the latter, you get 10 points and a gold star.)

It apparently has to do with St. Ignatius. Easy enough to look up.

You can keep your gold star, I have a feeling it's fool's gold.

Perhaps you mean Communist lovers instead of Russian lovers.
Usually you can tell them by their liberal fantasies.

Only a fool would mistake liberal for communist. Communism was
anything but liberal.

No. But most Communist LOVERS are liberals.

Maybe it's because liberals these days advocate the Communist agenda
such as the redistribution of wealth and a progressive tax system. It's
pretty simple to see that the liberals and communists want the same
thing.

We already had a progressive tax system, *really* progressive like the
liberals want. I remember looking at the tax tables in my dad's income
tax booklet and looking up the tax rate on a million dollars... 98%.
Yes, ninety-eight percent. But a DEMOCRAT (mirabile dictu!) came along
and fixed that with massive tax cuts which enormously raised the amount
of money the government actually collected and which made the economy
enormously better.

The Russians began deporting Chechens to Siberia and what became the
gulag in the Czarist days, and continued under Stalin with renewed
vigor. The policy was to "Russianify" minorities. A policy started
in the 18th century with Peter the Great. Approx 1.3 million
Chechens were deported in the 20th century, with 10% dying in
transport.

Throughout history there are many examples of people who have been treated
like garbage but haven't felt the need to kill children as revenge.

Like in the Old Testament when God Himself told some followers to bump
off their first born sons?

That would be a poor example.

True - on the other hand, there have been plenty of genocidal regimes
who have had no compunction about murdering children even when the
regime's members were not being mistreated by the group to be
murdered.

The mere fact that a person is a child does not mean that he or she
will deserve any special treatment by an opposing group. Any opposing
group. And frankly, if it will get to the heart and soul of an enemy
more quickly, there is no reason to doubt that children will *not* be
used as pawns or sacrifices. We here in the civilized, compassionate
world may cringe at the thought, but barbaric conditions result in
barbaric actions. Humanity does not equal sainthood, now or ever.
