That means that EVERY YEAR, we lose nearly the same amount as we lost in the entire Vietnam war. 1062 lives lost in a war for our very survival is a trivial number. Is 3000 people killed in the WTC a "trivial number"? I certainly hope not. Or why else would you be paying down a couple cool trillion dollars on them? Kinda puts it in perspective, doesn't it? Dan |
