Ok right now I'm using my JRC NRD-525 with a 35 Ft dipole and a 4:1 Current
balun coupled with a MFJ-959 pre-amp/tuner. I don't use the tuner that
often. As you know it amps the noise too along with the signal so I use only
it when absolutely neccessary. I'm on the 23rd floor of a building so I get
good signals.

type of
antenna are you using.

I heard LP on two of the three incorrect freqs yesterday on a Hammarlund
129X
with a 600ft. tract of wire and on my modded DX-394 on an Alpha Delta
sloper
roughly 60 ft. high.

Keep trying, you'll hear it. If I can hear LP on the wrong freqs, I'm sure
you
can hear them on the correct ones. ;-)
