When I listen to the BCB I can choose between a couple real affective loops and I'm privy to about as much wire as I feel like rollong out on the ground, I used a tad over 700 ft. last night. My question is: Can the wire be used *with* the loop also? I was thinking of hooking the run of wire to the loop. Will this work? Is there another combo with the antennas I used for the BCB that I can use to squeeze a little more? There is a way to phase the loop against the wire, but I'll defer to someone who has used that technique in BCB dx'ing. Try a Google on 'loop phasing', that will give you a start. dxAce Michigan USA http://www.iserv.net/~n8kdv/dxpage.htm |
