Here in Seattle I'm not picking up -any- of these pirate and number stations. As usual. Dammit, I want to hear the spies and outlaws!! I picked up a female spanish numbers station at 11:19 PDT on Wednesday on (I think) 8011 kHz. Mark Zenier Washington State resident Well, doggone it...why didn't you call me? Seriously, I'm going to be listening for this one. Wait...I'm at work at 11:19 PDT. Dammit, I want to hear the spies and outlaws!! Can you get AirAmerica where you're at? ;-) He said he wanted to hear spies and outlaws not raving lunatics. -- Telamon Ventura, California |

They changed the call letters but it's something like KPTK. I still think of it as the Mighty Ten Ninety KING-AM, but lately it was a runt of the litter 'Classic Country" station. Not sure about the frequency, as I can read my clock without my glasses, but the radio display is quite a bit smaller. Mark Zenier Washington State resident |

WNPR pirate with strong signal on 6955 at 00:00 UTC. Signed off at 00:31-UTC. He usually comes back on later in the evening. I guess he doesn't want to be on long enough for someone to ID his QTH. ----== Posted via Newsfeeds.Com - Unlimited-Uncensored-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.newsfeeds.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! 100,000 Newsgroups ---= East/West-Coast Server Farms - Total Privacy via Encryption =--- |
